Acellus AP Calculus Course

Acellus AP Calculus is an advanced placement course providing students with the curriculum required by the College Board for AP Calculus AB. Students completing this course will be able to take the AP Calculus AB exam, enabling them to earn college credit for taking this course while still in high school. Acellus AP Calculus is taught by veteran AP Calculus teacher, Patrick Mara.

Calculus in Theory and in the Real-World

Besides learning how to use the basic tools of Calculus, students completing this course learn on a deeper level what they are really doing and why it works. This provides insight few students experience in more conventional Calculus courses, empowering them with the knowledge required to solve real world problems.

College Board Approved

The Acellus AP Calculus syllabus has been reviewed by experienced college and university faculty, who have confirmed that this course provides a college-level learning opportunity to students. Acellus AP Calculus is recognized by College Board to meet or exceed the expectations of colleges and universities for this subject.

Acellus AP Calculus Exam Preparation Course

A companion course has also been developed, Acellus AP Calculus Exam Prep. This course provides students with AP Calculus AB exam-like problems, helping students to see the types of problems that they can expect to see when taking the actual exam. Students are also given helpful strategies for taking the exam.
