With the increasing requests for new course content, the Academy is striving to develop a vast resource of interactive courses for the Acellus Learning System. Gifts for New Acellus Course Development will enable the development of crucial educational courses in an effort to help turn around the educational crisis we are now facing.

Gifts for Acellus courses in new languages empower the Academy to develop educational courses customized to ELL students. These courses provide a more comfortable and effective learning environment for students with low English proficiency while introducing English terminology to prepare students for future mainstream classes.

In 2010, the International Academy of Science granted $1.4 million to schools nationwide to assist in the implementation of the Acellus hardware and curricula. Gifts for Matching Grants for Schools will allow the Academy to continue assisting schools in implementing courses delivered on the powerful Acellus Learning System.

The International Academy of Science strives to help provide a quality education to our entire Nation's youth. To assist in fulfilling this goal, the Accredited Acellus High School fund will assist the Academy in providing an Online Accredited High School with all course content delivered on Acellus.

One of the goals of the International Academy of Science is to establish Acellus Learning Centers in cities throughout the United States. Each Acellus Learning Center will be equipped with its own Acellus Server and computer workstations especially configured for running Acellus. Through Acellus Learning Centers, staffed by trained and qualified Acellus Lab Assistants, anyone can come and register for an entire course and gain a high-quality, low cost tutoring service.

The Acellus National Education Development Center will be a modern facility with Acellus classrooms, studios, edit rooms, and training centers that will enable the Academy to develop additional Acellus courses.

The Acellus Learning System is a revolutionary computerized, video-based course delivery system designed to help students master any course of instruction. Through Acellus students are able to receive standards-based, self-paced instruction taught by some of our Nation's finest teachers. The basic premise of Acellus is to turn the learning process into a science, and by so doing, improve the overall effectiveness of the learning process.
