The graduate degree programs offered through the International Institute of Science and Technology began in 1985 as an alternative education program providing graduate students with a multi-disciplinary, hand-on training to prepare them for employment opportunities in high-tech industries.

Today, the graduate programs of IIST continue to teach students how to turn an innovative idea into a real-world, marketable product while focusing, at the same time, on developing their leadership abilities--preparing them to become technology leaders of the future.

IIST offers 2-year Master of Research and 4-year Doctor of Research degrees to students completing each of these graduate programs. The International Institute of Science and Technology currently offers four different areas of specialization for these research degrees:

• Health and Wellness
• Hydrogen Energy
• Math Education
