The International Academy of Science encourages the establishment of affiliates in all countries. International Affiliates of the International Academy of Science are autonomous organizations that affiliate with the US-based International Academy of Science. Members of International Affiliates pay dues to their affiliate organizations and, at the same time, enjoy access to the Science Information System along with the privilege of publishing the results of their original research online. The Affiliate for each country is recognized by its name. (For example, the International Affiliate for Brazil is called the International Academy of Science - Brazil.)
