Synopsis

ASAC is the two-day annual symposium where education executives come to learn the latest methods and technologies used to accelerate learning from the leading Institute of Science and Technology (IST) Faculty and experts on the Acellus Development Team.

This high-level short course will cover hybrid education and the art of how to combine face-to-face instruction effectively with eLearning. On the agenda are methods to accelerate learning recovery for students, and how to keep education moving forward in situations when there is limited teaching staff.  Discussions will center on strategies and best practices on how to be pandemic-ready and prepare for a quick transition to 100% remote learning in case of another shutdown. Lastly, the cyber security experts at IST will be sharing important methods that are a must-know for education executives on how to manage and motivate technology staff to ensure the district is ransomware attack ready.

Pandemic-Proof Your School District

Learn how districts are creating a safe and effective hybrid learning environment for in-classroom instruction. Work with experts to develop a cohesive contingency plan for a districtwide transition to remote learning. Be prepared to go completely virtual overnight and still effectively educate students without additional demands being placed on teachers.

Strategies to Safeguard Against Ransomware Attacks

According to reports published by Gartner, the world's leading information technology research and advisory firm, it is not a matter of if but when school districts will be exposed to ransomware attacks. These costly and often devastating attacks are becoming commonplace occurrences. Learn how to prepare and put necessary safeguards in place so that your district is prepared and not as vulnerable.
