"The Park Ridge High School is located in northern Bergen County and services children in the community from grades 7-12. At the seventh grade level all students take pre-algebra, and at the eighth grade level all students take algebra. We identified that not all students had the prerequisite skills needed to be successful with these curriculums. We had run the traditional basic skills instruction, but the gains were not where we thought they should be.
