Need Help Finishing High School?

In today’s competitive job market, applicants without a high school diploma are discovering that it is very difficult to secure a good job. Over the course of a career, the difference in earning potential of a person that has completed high school as compared to one that has not is staggering. The obvious answer is simple: finish high school. You then have the option of going after better jobs or even going on to college.

The International Academy of Science is partnering with high schools throughout the country to improve math education. One of the leading causes of increased high school dropout rates is difficulty with math. The Academy’s award-winning Acellus math courses have helped literally thousands of students to fulfill their math requirements, thereby enabling them to go on to high school graduation.

For students that have already dropped out of high school, the International Academy of Science has a cutting-edge program to help. It is called the GED Student Recovery Program. Here’s how it works: Students enroll in the Recovery Program at the campus of the International Academy of Science located in Blue Springs, Missouri. Students enrolled in this full-time program attend classes Monday through Friday. In addition to Acellus Math courses, they become “hands on” involved in real world research projects. In this way, they gain the math skills required to pass the GED examination, and gain practical knowledge to help them apply these skills in their lives. They also have the opportunity to apply for college credit for these courses.
