Acellus Course Instructor

Bringing 30 years of teaching experience to the Acellus Survey of American Literature course, Ms. Haus helps students grasp the great diversity of American literature and come to understand and appreciate its depth and richness. Ms. Haus believes that teachers should seek to empower students with the necessary skills to take control of their own learning. In addition to being highly respected and praised by her students, Ms. Haus has been honored with the Distinguished Educator Award from the University of Central Missouri. She is currently teaching at Belton School District 124 and is involved with the Greater Kansas City Writing Project - affiliated with the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
