Admission

Applicant Requirements and Prerequisites

Thank you for your interest in the applied degree programs of the International Academy of Science (IAS). IAS takes a hands-on, applied approach to education — providing students with the technical skills in high demand by employers. As an IAS student, you will join a dynamic community of students, faculty, and alumni passionate about the practical application of science and technology in addressing the challenges facing our world today.

A prospective student seeking admission to IAS should begin by submitting a written application to the school. Foreign, non-immigrant students must also provide proof of English proficiency and of financial responsibility for the student.

IAS Fellowship Programs

Students planning to attend the International Academy of Science may apply for a fellowship that provides a full scholarship to cover the cost of tuition and fees. A stipend is also often provided to help offset student living expenses — enabling the student to spend full-time devoted to their studies.

Selection of Candidates

Applicants are selected by an International Academy of Science review committee. Selection is based upon current program enrollment, intellectual abilities of the students as demonstrated by their GPAs, and on the opinion of the committee concerning the students’ ability to succeed — not only in the programs, but also in industry after their degrees are awarded.

In selecting students for IAS educational programs, the International Academy of Science does not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its programs and activities.
