Admission

Applicant Requirements and Prerequisites

Thank you for your interest in the graduate degree programs of the Institute of Science and Technology (IST).  IST takes a hands-on, applied approach to education — providing students with the technical skills in high demand by employers.  As an IST student, you will join a dynamic community of students, faculty, and alumni passionate about the practical application of business administration, computer science, cybersecurity, distance education, and sustainable energy in addressing the challenges facing our world today.

A prospective student seeking admission to IST should begin by submitting a written application to the school.  Supporting documents, including student transcripts and other documents, should be included. Foreign, non-immigrant students must also provide proof of English proficiency and of financial responsibility for the student.

Pardoe Graduate School Fellowship Application

Pardoe Graduate School Fellowship Program

Students planning to attend the Institute of Science and Technology may apply for the Pardoe Graduate School Fellowship Program.  This fellowship provides a full scholarship to cover the cost of tuition and fees.  Also included in this fellowship is a stipend provided to help offset living expenses — enabling the student to spend full-time devoted to their studies.

Selection of Candidates

Applicants are selected by an Institute of Science and Technology review committee. Selection is based upon current program enrollment, intellectual abilities of the students as demonstrated by their GPAs, and on the opinion of the committee concerning the students’ ability to succeed — not only in the programs, but also in industry after their degrees are awarded.

In selecting students for IST educational programs, the Institute of Science and Technology does not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its programs and activities.
