New Acellus Course: American Sign Language II
Acellus is eager to announce its new course, American Sign Language II. Building on the foundational skills learned in ASL I, this course is designed for students eager to enhance their signing abilities and deepen their understanding of Deaf culture.
ASL II focuses on intermediate-level communication, offering expanded vocabulary related to daily life, family, school, health, and hobbies. Students will dive into real-world contexts, allowing them to practice their skills in social interactions and public service roles. Additionally, the course emphasizes the significance of Deaf culture’s values, history, and artistic expressions, fostering a deeper appreciation among learners.
By the end of ASL II, students will be well-equipped to engage in meaningful conversations, share personal experiences, and articulate the cultural significance of their learning, promoting effective communication in and out of the Deaf community. Read More >>
