New Acellus Course: Pre-Calculus
Acellus has just released its new Pre-Calculus course, designed specifically to bridge the gap between Algebra II and Calculus. Taught by Patrick Mara, this course equips students with the essential mathematical tools and conceptual understanding needed for success in higher-level mathematics.
Acellus Pre-Calculus dives deep into functions and their properties, polynomial and rational expressions, as well as exponential and logarithmic modeling. With a strong focus on real-world applications, learners will enhance their algebraic skills, graphical analysis, and problem-solving strategies.
Students will cultivate an appreciation for key ideas like rates of change, accumulation, and limits. By the end of the course, they’ll have a solid foundation in transformations of functions, analytic trigonometry, systems of equations, and data modeling techniques, all of which are crucial for success in STEM fields.
