In the Acellus Physical Science course, Ms. Johnson presents a thorough investigation of the physical world around us, generously embellished by her exuberance for her subject. In her fifteen-year career, Ms. Johnson has taught all grades from 1-8. She is specifically certified not only in Elementary Education for these grades, but also in both Middle School Science and Middle School Language Arts, grades 4-9. Throughout her career she has been heavily involved in leadership training and in bringing cutting-edge techniques into the classroom. Ms. Johnson received a Bachelor of Education from the University of Central Missouri, and a Master of Education from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. A teacher since 2001, Ms. Johnson has taught in Sedalia School District #200 and the Pettis County RXII School District, both in Sedalia, Missouri, and in the Raymore-Peculiar School District in Raymore, Missouri. She was the recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching in 2011.
