Dr. Mary Laughlin brings a wealth of experience in the fields of medicine and education to the Acellus Medical Terminology course and the Acellus Middle School and High School Health courses. Dr. Laughlin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Ottowa Univeristy in 1983, followed by a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1987. She went on to earn a Health Information Systems Workflow Management and Training Specialist Certificate at Johnson County Community College in 2015. She was a practicing and Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist with Women's Health Associates from 1991 to 2002. Dr. Johnson served as an Adjunct Professor at Colorado Technical University from 2008 to 2011, and has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medical Terminology at Johnson County Community College since 2012.
