New Acellus Course: Grade 2 Math

Acellus is thrilled to announce the release of its new Grade 2 Math course! This curriculum provides a comprehensive, hands-on foundation in second-grade mathematics, guiding students from basic arithmetic fluency through place value, multi-digit operations, measurement, time, money, data analysis, geometry, and introductory fractions. Lessons emphasize visual models, manipulatives such as base-ten blocks and number lines, mental-math strategies, fact families, strip diagrams, and real-world word problems to build number sense, problem-solving confidence, and mathematical reasoning.

By the end of the course, students will confidently add and subtract within 1,000 (with and without regrouping), tell time to the nearest minute, handle money up to $10, interpret graphs, identify 2D and 3D shapes and their attributes, calculate simple area, and understand basic fractions—all while developing the skills needed for success in third grade.  Read More >>
